Nestled in the rolling vineyards of South West France

Imagine your next holiday laying next to your own private sparkling blue pool, echoing with the sounds of friends and family enjoying the sun and the space. Stretching into the distance you can see vineyards, sunflowers and the snow capped Pyrenees. Imagine yourself at Maison Coeur à Pontacq in the beautiful Gers region of South West France.

Fully renovated in 2016 Maison Coeur offers style, luxury, privacy and all the comforts of home, sleeping up to 10 people in 5 bedrooms. With it’s own private pool and an acre of gardens, the Gascony area is soaked in over 2000 hours of sunshine a year, meaning a visit in September is equally delicious. Visit the local markets, join in the fun of the fair during fête season, paddle board on the lakes, take a cable car up the highest mountains. Or park the car and simply relax in your own slice of heaven for a week.
One thing you’re always guaranteed is a very warm welcome here at Maison Coeur.

The home with heart.

What does Gers have to offer?

We are nestled in the country of D’Artagnan and the Musketeers, and Gers holds the key to a charming and relaxing holiday in the countryside.

Travel just 90 minutes and you can be skiing in the Pyrenees or sunbathing on a beach. Go a little further and you can be in Spain sampling rioja and tapas. Gers really is ideally placed to visit many places. Or you can simply stay put, enjoy the sun, have an alfresco BBQ under your large covered patio and cool down in your private pool. Here you have your own small slice of heaven.
Only ten minutes away is Nogaro and the Circuit de Paul Armagnac which hosts super bike racing, trucks, GT cars and historic events too. It is well worth a visit if you love the sound of engines roaring! Check out their website for upcoming events.
Nearby at Barbotan is the thermal spa offering a range of treatments, breaks and retreats with fitness and well being facilities. Great for relaxation and recharging your batteries. There is also a weekly market to stock up on local cheese and essentials, and why not have a coffee and just watch French life happening before your eyes.

When summer arrives the whole area comes alive with music, the sound of the bandas, jazz in Marciac, country or rock tunes…Gascony loves to play and come out to eat. Each village has its own fête where everyone comes together to celebrate whats best about Gers. Friendliness, music, food and the vines. No night is bigger than July 14th with food, fireworks and decorated floats, Bastille Day is a firm fixture on everyone’s calendar.
